The eden project
Near St Austell, the eden project is a wonder of biology
and technology. It takes a day to see evrything in the Eden
project, from wild tropical plants, to amazing man made waterfalls.
There are a selection of different places to eat and there
is also complete access for the disabled. You should not miss

Barbara Hepworth's
workshop and garden
This small garden in Cornwall is set near to the bustling streets
of St Ives is a quiet oasis and a reminder of the great work
of Dame Barbara who met her death in 1975. The garden was Barbara
Hepworth's own creation and was gradually filled with her sculptures.
Gravel paths lead you in between exotic plantings to her workshop.
There is a raised pond and there are glimpses of the sea. |
The lost gardens of Heligan
Seat of the Tremayne family for more than 400 years, is one of
the most mysterious estates in England. At the end of the nineteenth
century its thousand acres were at their zenith, but only a
few years later bramble and ivy were already drawing a green
veil over this "Sleeping Beauty". The award-winning
garden restoration is already internationally acclaimed; An
impressive range of wild flora and fauna has been identified
within the gardens and estate |
